Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will support real estate transactions, title searches, lease negotiations, and property management matters. Your expertise will help ensure smooth legal processes, compliance with relevant laws, and efficient handling of complex real estate cases. Duties

  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and managing real estate documents such as purchase agreements, leases, deeds, and title reports.
  • Conduct comprehensive title searches and coordinate with title companies to verify property ownership and encumbrances.
  • Support the preparation of closing documents and facilitate the closing process for real estate transactions.
  • Manage document review and organization using legal case management systems like iManage and document management systems.
  • Perform legal research on property laws, zoning regulations, environmental law issues, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), and other relevant legal areas.
  • Coordinate with clients, attorneys, lenders, and government agencies to gather necessary documentation and ensure compliance.
  • Maintain accurate records of filings, correspondence, and case progress while handling confidential information with utmost discretion.
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling interviews, managing files in PCLaw or similar software, and supporting project management tasks related to real estate matters.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of real estate law including estate planning, environmental law, UCC law, landlord-tenant law, and procedural law.
  • Proven experience in legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw; familiarity with legal writing and drafting is essential.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently; experience with document review and case management systems like iManage is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with legal support software such as PCLaw; familiarity with document management systems is a plus.
  • Effective communication skills for client interaction, interviewing witnesses or clients when necessary, and maintaining professional phone etiquette.
  • Knowledge of project management principles to coordinate complex transactions seamlessly from start to finish.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while demonstrating strong attention to detail in document review and filing processes.
  • Experience supporting legal teams in areas such as general & commercial litigation or tribal law & regulations is advantageous.

Pay: $55,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
