Job Description
We are seeking a Products Liability Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation skills and a background in products liability defense, including multidistrict litigation (MDL) and coordinated state proceedings. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-stakes cases for major corporate clients across industries such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, automotive, and consumer products.
Key Responsibilities
Handle products liability litigation matters from inception to resolution.
Draft briefs, pleadings, motions, and written discovery responses.
Conduct depositions, oral arguments, and expert witness interviews.
Manage document collection, review, and production.
Analyze causation and failure theories to develop case strategy.
Participate in court hearings, trials, and settlement negotiations.
Collaborate with partners, clients, and expert witnesses.
Ensure compliance with state and federal product liability laws.
Qualifications & Skills
3-5 years of litigation experience with a focus on products liability (Required).
Strong experience in written discovery, depositions, and expert analysis.
Familiarity with MDLs and coordinated state proceedings.
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
Strong case management and strategic thinking abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Active member of the California Bar.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $260,000.00 – $365,000.00 per year
