As of April 17th, an affordable housing developer/investor is seeking an experienced Real Estate Paralegal to join the in-house Legal Department. This position involves:
Supporting attorneys with all facets of commercial real estate transactions, including entity formation, title and survey review, and due diligence.
Handling closing and post-closing processes.
Finalizing title policies with title companies, preparing signature page packets, and organizing closing indices and binders.
Tracking ongoing checklists, tracking budgets, and working collaboratively to resolve any issues that arise.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of paralegal experience with a focus on real estate transactions.
Strong organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to draft documents in a timely and accurate manner.
Team player with a proactive work ethic who can represent the organization to outside parties.
