Position Overview: We are seeking experienced Associate Attorneys to join our team. As an Associate Attorney, you will play a critical role in representing our clients in various civil litigation matters. You will have the opportunity to work on challenging and impactful cases, collaborating with a team of seasoned professionals.
Responsibilities:
Litigate cases in both state and federal court.
Take and defend depositions of parties, experts, and witnesses.
Prepare and respond to discovery requests.
Draft and argue dispositive motions.
Jury trials in both state and federal court.
Prepare detailed reports and analysis of cases for clients.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Active bar membership in Illinois state and federal court.
2-5 years of experience in civil litigation, with a focus on municipal liability, police misconduct defense, employment defense, or insurance defense.
Proven jury trial track record.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Exceptional research and analytical abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
