Position: Â Real Estate Lawyer (On Contract)
Roles and Responsibility:
Candidate would primarily be involved in  Retail Expansion & Real Estate Work
Monitor legal risk in real estate documentation and advise the leasing teams accordingly. Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for real estate transactions.
Draft and negotiate MoUs, Agreements, Powers of Attorney, Deeds, Rent/Lease/Leave & License Agreements.
Ensure that appropriate approvals are in place before real estate transactions are executed.
Minimize risk and ensure compliance with company policies, laws, and regulations
Proactively provide legal opinion as needed, conduct legal research and where necessary, work with outside counsel for advice on complex matters and local laws/regulations
Support Legal Head on strategic legal advice and
process improvement
Regulatory Liaison:
Engage with regulatory authorities and agencies as necessary to represent the company’s interests and stay informed about industry developments.
Provide a timely update on case status in MIS in a clear understandable manner.
Litigation experience added advantage
Skills Required
– Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience, preferably a mix of law firm and in-house experience within real estate and manufacturing or retail industry.
Should have exposure to handling real estate legal matters and
hands-on experience
drafting various kinds of legal agreements/ business contracts
