Real Estate Closing Attorney Jobs in Charlotte, NC at Lancaster, Trotter, Pickett & Owens, PLLC

Immigration and employment litigation firm looking for an associate attorney.

You must be able to assist with immigration and employment matters from beginning to end, including demands, motions/pleadings, discovery, court appearances, and communications with opposing counsel.

This is a remote position, with in office check-ins, court appearances, and detention center visits when needed.

Salary depends on experience with additional incentives for generating clients and settling cases.

Duties include:

Research, draft, and file motions with the Superior Court, Immigration Court, Board of Immigration Appeals, and 9th Circuit
Immigration Waivers
Communicating with clients as to case status and updates
Court appearances
Discovery review
Immigration interviews
Document preparation
Client meetings
Occasional travel to Orange County, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Los Angeles (additional compensation)
Detention center and jail visits
