The firm is expanding and seeking an experienced Real Estate Associate Attorney to join a growing team handling sophisticated transactional real estate matters. This role is ideal for a seasoned practitioner who values leasing work client relationships and long-term professional stability within a supportive firm environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and analysis related to commercial leasing and real estate transactional matters
- Draft lease agreements purchase agreements financing documents and related transactional documents with accuracy and efficiency
- Represent clients in negotiations closings workouts and other real estate proceedings including landlord tenant and distressed asset matters
- Manage an assigned transaction portfolio independently while collaborating with senior attorneys on complex or high-value matters
Qualifications
- JD from an ABA-approved law school with an active New Jersey license in good standing (New York Bar admission a plus)
- 4+ years of real estate law experience with significant leasing experience required
- Strong organizational communication and time management skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced high-volume environment
- Proficiency with drafting negotiation analytical skills and electronic document platforms preferred
