Small Southeastern Massachusetts Elder Law Firm seeks an associate with at least three years of experience with non-contested Probate Administration and MassHealth Nursing Home Applications. Part-time contract position available to start with the possibility of additional hours. This is a hybrid work position with some remote work as an option.
Responsibilities include:
Independently manage a Probate caseload while supervising a paralegal.
Supervise a paralegal in preparing and filing Long Term Care MassHealth Applications.
Qualifications:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school;
Admission to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Bar Association in good standing;
A minimum of three years of experience with Probate Administration and some experience with Long Term Care MassHealth Applications is preferred;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; and,
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to effectively manage a caseload.
