While this is a remote position, applicants must reside in South Florida.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Family Law Associate Attorney with 3-4 years of relevant experience; litigation experience is a plus. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical drafting and interpersonal skills and possess a proactive, solution-oriented mindset. You will work closely with clients, paralegals, senior attorney, and other counsel, playing a key role in all phases of family and marital law matters.
Compensation:
$85,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience
Responsibilities:
Draft Marital Settlement Agreements, Parenting Plans, Prenuptial and Postnuptial Agreements
Communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel
Attend and participate in mediations, client meetings, and court proceedings
Assist in drafting presentations and represent the firm at networking events and functions
Utilize Clio, Family Law Software, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Take initiative in managing tasks, solving problems, and following through thoroughly
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the Florida Bar
3-4 years of experience practicing family law; litigation experience preferred
Proficiency in Clio, Family Law Software, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Excellent legal writing, research, and communication skills
Financial literacy important
Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage complex tasks
Experience drafting client-facing documents and technical writing
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines efficiently
