Direct Counsel is seeking a Real Estate Associate (3rd–6th year) to join a prestigious firm’s Washington, D.C., New York, or Reston, VA office. This is an excellent opportunity to work with sophisticated clients on complex real estate transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle real estate secured loans, leasing, acquisitions, and dispositions.
Review and analyze title, survey, and due diligence materials.
Draft and negotiate loan documents, purchase agreements, and leases.
Manage transactions from inception to closing, ensuring compliance with client and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
3-6 years of real estate experience at a comparable law firm.
JD from a nationally recognized law school with strong academic credentials.
Excellent writing, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail.
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary Range: $260,000 – $390,000 (Final offer depends on location and experience).
