Job Summary:
We are mid-sized law firm located near downtown Albuquerque seeking a detail-oriented Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, maintaining client files, and providing administrative support on a variety of cases including employment, personal injury, and other civil litigation. Pay will depend on experience within the field.
Duties:
– Assist attorneys with case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs.
– Organize and maintain legal documents and case files.
– Conduct legal research on various topics using online resources.
– Prepare and file legal documents with the court.
– Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel as needed.
– Manage attorney calendars and schedule appointments.
– Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
– Proofread legal documents for accuracy and completeness.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
– Proven experience working as a Paralegal in a law firm or legal department.
– Strong clerical skills including typing, filing, and organization.
– Ability to transcribe legal documents accurately.
– Familiarity with legal drafting and terminology.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $50,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
