Real Estate Paralegal – Midtown Law (Chapel Hill, NC)
Midtown Law is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Real Estate Paralegal to join our Chapel Hill office. This role involves managing the logistical aspects of real estate closings, ensuring a smooth process while delivering outstanding service to clients, agents, and lenders.
Qualifications & Experience:
● Minimum one year of experience in real estate law, though graduates of an accredited Paralegal program are encouraged to apply.
● Experience managing files from contract to close is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
● Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
● Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
● Proven ability to establish and maintain relationships with clients and agents.
● Experience with real estate closing software (Qualia experience is a plus).
● Proficiency in Outlook, MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and Nitro.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage the closing process from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
● Open files, order HOA and loan payoffs, and assist attorneys in resolving title issues.
● Prepare and review loan packages, closing documents, and settlement statements.
● Coordinate closing schedules and oversee document recording and funding.
Position Details:
● Full-time, in-office role (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM).
● Candidates should live nearby or have a reasonable commute to our Chapel Hill office.
● Competitive salary and benefits package.
● Starting salary is $45,000, with higher compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
