Legal and Compliance
1. Legal and compliance function play an important role for insurance brokers by proving legal advice and guidance to ensure that brokers comply with all necessary regulations and laws.
2. It helps to understand the legal implications of different cases.
3. Assist in drafting and reviewing contracts with insurers and clients which helps to safeguard our IPR, Confidentiality etc.
Quality Assurance

1. It helps to minimize the risks by improving service quality which ensures that we follow quality standards parameters set by the Company.
2. It helps to identify the issues at early stage and eliminate defects in the process.

Role
purpose

process improvement

Eg. Timely IRDAI submission/ Mandate/ Branch compliance/ BQP training/ Agreement automation/ BQP validation/ Assisting stakeholders.
Key expectations of the role
ï‚· Responsible for ARIBL compliance with the Insurance regulation and all other relevant regulations.
ï‚· Report to the CEO/Management to ensure compliance issued are brought to their attention and to discuss for remediation of these issue. ï‚· Manage the periodic reporting to the regulator on an ongoing basis.
ï‚· Conduct process quality checks/ Audit for ARIBL operation and sales processes ï‚· Highlight the process deviations to the management.
ï‚· Automated work flow system for Legal/Compliance/QA
ï‚· Assist the stakeholders with any enquires on compliance issues.
Competencies required from the role
1. Strong knowledge of laws/regulations and legal principles relevant to the industry
2. Ability to analysis complex legal and regulatory issue, identify potential risk and develop sound strategy with solutions.
