The opportunity
This is an early-stage territory-development opportunity with recurring account potential. Representatives who establish agency relationships now can build long-term business as EMT919 expands across police departments, sheriff’s offices, municipalities, counties, emergency-management organizations, and regional public-safety networks.
What you’ll do
- Identify and engage public-safety decision-makers within your assigned territory.
- Introduce EMT919 to chiefs, sheriffs, command staff, operations leaders, grants managers, procurement teams, municipal administrators, and other government buyers.
- Secure agency briefings, demonstrations, and qualified 30-day pilot agreements.
- Guide qualified agencies through product review, internal approval, procurement, and annual contract conversion.
- Develop relationships with public-safety associations, government partners, and regional agency networks.
- Build and manage a documented territory pipeline, including prospects, pilots, proposals, forecast dates, and expected contract values.
- Report activity, pipeline status, agency feedback, and forecasts to EMT919 leadership.
- Represent EMT919 professionally at agency meetings, industry events, conferences, and public-safety gatherings.
- Work with EMT919 leadership on product information, security materials, procurement documentation, budget examples, and grant-support resources.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with public-safety technology companies or adjacent government vendors.
- Previous law-enforcement, military, emergency-management, corrections, dispatch, or public-safety experience.
An interpreter background is not required. This is a government sales, relationship-development, and territory-management role.
Role structure
- Independent contractor engagement.
- Territories assigned according to geography, agency relationships, existing coverage, and performance.
- EMT919 provides product materials, briefing support, pilot documentation, procurement information, and grant-support language.
- Representatives manage their own outreach, meetings, follow-up, and pipeline activity.
- Travel, conferences, and in-person agency meetings may be required.
- Company-paid or reimbursable travel requires advance approval.
- Final territory rights, account ownership, commission timing, renewal eligibility, expenses, and representative responsibilities will be defined in the independent contractor agreement.
- Compensation 15% commission and $750 bonus for each signed, qualified 30-day pilot agreement.
- Uncapped commission potential based on territory performance.
