Core Responsibilities
- Build realistic digital workspaces reflecting day-to-day public-interest legal workflows and case materials
- Design multi-step legal tasks involving advocacy, litigation, policy analysis, and regulatory matters
- Create structured scenarios requiring coordination across multiple applications, files, and stakeholders
- Collaborate with public-interest attorneys to refine workflow realism and evaluation rigor
- Work asynchronously with research teams to improve benchmark design and task quality
- Translate complex legal-aid and impact-litigation workflows into structured evaluation specifications
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Strong experience in public-interest law, civil-rights litigation, environmental law, or consumer protection matters
- JD and active bar admission
- Background in housing, immigration, public benefits, environmental justice, impact litigation, or administrative advocacy
- Familiarity with platforms such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, Clio, MyCase, Socrata, or Esri ArcGIS Hub
- Strong analytical writing and ability to structure complex legal workflows into detailed task specifications
