About Team

Support the COO Office across Sea Group's business units by driving strategic media relations, public affairs, and stakeholder engagement initiatives. The role is responsible for managing media outreach and publicity efforts, developing communication materials, monitoring media and policy developments, and building strong relationships with journalists, government stakeholders, and industry partners to support business objectives and enhance the company's reputation.

Job Description:

  • Develop press releases, articles, opinions, executive statements, and other communication materials to support corporate communications objectives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, media outlets, and industry influencers
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on media coverage, public sentiment, policy developments, and emerging issues that may impact the company
  • Support the planning and execution of media engagements, press briefings, interviews, corporate announcements, and stakeholder events
  • Coordinate media outreach activities and manage media inquiries across Sea Group's business units
  • Engage with government agencies, industry associations, and other external stakeholders to support public affairs and regulatory engagement initiatives
  • Assist in preparing policy briefs, stakeholder mapping, meeting materials, and communication strategies related to government and regulatory matters
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify communication opportunities, support strategic projects, and strengthen stakeholder relationships

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, Law, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in media relations, corporate communications, public affairs, government relations, public policy, or journalism
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Proven experience managing relationships with journalists, media organizations, government institutions, or industry stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of Indonesia's media landscape, public policy environment, and regulatory processes
  • Experience supporting stakeholder engagement initiatives involving government agencies, regulators, trade associations, or public institutions
  • Strong stakeholder management, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across different levels of seniority
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess media, policy, and regulatory developments and translate them into actionable insights
