Join an award-winning law firm servicing the real estate, hotels and construction industries in the heart of Sydney CBD. This hands-on role suits an experienced Property Paralegal ready to run files independently, working alongside approachable senior lawyers on quality residential and commercial matters for developers and investors.
We're looking for someone who can confidently manage files from post-exchange through to settlement, with a solid understanding of conveyancing and leasing practices, including proficiency in PEXA and LRS lodgements. This is not an entry-level position — you'll already be competent in these duties.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1–2 years' property experience
- Australian work authorisation at time of application
- Proficient with PEXA and LRS

The Role
Working closely with our property lawyers, you will have day-to-day responsibility for:
- File opening and client onboarding (VOI, AML/CTF compliance, client authorisation forms and costs agreements)
- Contract review and reporting
- Managing conveyancing files from post-exchange through to completion
- Preparing and lodging dealings with NSW Land Registry Services (LRS)
- Managing electronic settlements and lodgements via PEXA
- Ordering and reviewing searches via Infotrack
- Proficient in matter management, billing and using practice software LEAP
- Preparing settlement figures, adjustments and completion documentation
- Liaising with clients, agents, lenders and banks
- Assistance with billing practices at month end or on completion of matters
- General property and conveyancing support as required
- Research and general paralegal duties
- Assisting with pitch documents and costs agreements
About You
- Minimum 1–2 years' experience as a property or conveyancing paralegal in NSW
- Strong working knowledge of PEXA, LRS, LEAP and Infotrack
- Competent in contract preparation, settlement coordination, client communication, document review and file management
- Ability to manage files autonomously under some supervision
- Sound understanding of the NSW conveyancing process
- Experience in QLD or Victorian practice is advantageous
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail — this is a must
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- Proactive problem-solver who can manage competing priorities
- Team-first mindset with a genuine commitment to client service
- Australian work authorisation required
