We’re partnered with an award-winning, legal 500 ranked law firm who are looking for a Property Paralegal to support the property securitisation team and manage their own caseload in their London office. This role is the perfect opportunity to progress a career in property law and gain excellent exposure to a broad range of work in a busy and friendly team.
Responsibilities include:
Managing property charging transactions, including identifying titles at the Land Registry, obtaining Official Copy Entries and Office Copy Documents, conducting title checks and property due diligence, reviewing property searches, obtaining required items from Local Authorities and third parties, following up on outstanding items, completing pre-completion Land Registry Searches, and handling post-completion matters.
Handling tasks related to Deeds of Variation, such as reviewing title registers and plans to determine land ownership and legal interests, obtaining and identifying necessary documents, liaising with Councils and third parties to chase responses and address queries, and drafting planning application forms, deeds, and accompanying correspondence.
Providing updates and progress reports to Clients, Partners, and Solicitors as needed.
Assisting in organizing, monitoring, and delivering significant team transactions.
Supporting and providing cover for other paralegals within the team as required.
Meeting set targets and objectives efficiently and effectively.
Adhering to departmental procedures, the Solicitor’s Accounts Rules, and the Firm’s policies and procedures outlined in the Office Manual.
Undertaking additional duties and tasks relevant to the Paralegal role, including adapting to updates in information systems and new technology, as reasonably required.
