Job Summary
This position supports Client’s Product Policy & Strategy team, working on Generative AI products. The work directly impacts global elections and political discourse by ensuring AI models are fair, unbiased, and safe. It’s a high-priority, high-visibility role focused on testing and evaluating the safety of cutting-edge technology.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute red-teaming evaluations across text and multimodal AI systems.
Identify political and ideological bias and assess gaps in mitigations.
Prioritize high-risk areas, especially during elections, breaking news cycles, or sensitive global events.
Conduct structured and rapid-response evaluations based on emerging events.
Assess and synthesize findings to influence model development and policy alignment.
Communicate insights to cross-functional teams across Policy, Product, Trust, and Research.
Support product development with risk assessments and launch readiness input.
Track global political and policy trends that may impact model behavior.
Analyze competitor AI models and advise on policy-based product development.
Must-Have Skills
Experience with Red-Teaming and Generative AI, especially in trust and safety domains.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in technology and public policy/governance.
Deep understanding of U.S. political and policy issues.
Ability to work independently and strategically in ambiguous, dynamic environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience in Big Tech environments.
Strong cross-functional stakeholder management.
Multilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish, Hindi, Arabic, Portuguese).
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Political Science, Policy, Law, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
