PROCESS SERVER
DEPARTMENT: Sheriff’s Office
HIRING RANGE: $23.23-$25.83/hour based on education and position related experience. Longevity pay after 3 years.

POSITION TO BE FILLED: ASAP
HOURS & DAYS OF WORK: Monday- Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (40 hour work week)

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Within County (please complete driving page on application)
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for executing all civil process and protective orders that do not require intervention by law enforcement.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid unencumbered driver’s license
• Ability to deal swiftly, rationally, and decisively with potentially violent individuals in precarious situations
- Ability to properly operate standard office/law enforcement equipment and computer software programs, such as computer, case management software, calculator, radio, pepper spray, and vehicle
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen
