A well-established estate planning, probate, administration, and litigation law firm in Boca Raton, FL is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Legal Secretary / Legal Assistant to support its team of attorneys. This is a full-time, in-office position ideal for someone with a strong understanding of legal procedures and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive administrative support to attorneys, including document preparation and proofreading

Draft, edit, and file legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings

Monitor and manage court dockets and deadlines

Coordinate and schedule hearings, depositions, client meetings, and court dates

Maintain and organize attorney calendars and ensure all deadlines are met

Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and opposing counsel

Assist in case management, including document collection and organization

Perform general clerical tasks such as scanning, filing, and handling phone/email correspondence

Prepare case files and materials for court and client meetings

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary, preferably in estate planning, probate, or litigation

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently

Familiarity with court procedures , e-filing, and document management

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Clio or other legal case management software is a plus

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team

Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential matters with discretion
