Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Probate and Estate Planning Attorney to join our dedicated legal team. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of estate plans, guide clients through probate proceedings, and provide comprehensive legal counsel on estate and trust matters. Your expertise will help clients preserve their legacy while ensuring compliance with applicable laws. Duties
- Draft and review estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and advance healthcare directives.
- Manage probate and estate administration processes from initial filings to final distributions, ensuring adherence to statutory requirements.
- Provide legal counsel on complex issues such as estate taxes, asset protection, and trust administration.
- Conduct legal research on statutes, regulations, and case law related to estate planning, probate, and other relevant areas such as environmental law, tribal law & regulations, and securities law.
- Represent clients in court depositions, hearings, and trial preparation for probate disputes or contested estate matters.
- Negotiate settlements in estate-related disputes and facilitate client communication throughout the legal process.
- Maintain accurate case management records using legal research tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw; prepare legal motions and drafting documents with precision.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of estate planning, probate procedures, procedural law, and statutory legal research.
- Strong expertise in litigation including trial preparation, court depositions, and legal advocacy.
- Proficiency in legal writing, drafting contracts, motions, and other legal documents with clarity and accuracy.
- Skilled in negotiation tactics to resolve disputes efficiently while protecting client interests.
- Familiarity with a broad range of practice areas such as family law, employment law case experience, personal injury law, securities law, workers’ compensation law, landlord-tenant law, immigration law, environmental law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, general & commercial litigation.
- Experience with legal case management software and research platforms like LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Excellent client communication skills to explain complex legal concepts clearly and empathetically.
- Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $74,774.03 – $150,000.00 per year
