Legal Recruitment Consultant at Larson Maddox
We are currently partnered with a Leading Investment Management Firm that is actively looking to bring on a Senior Paralegal to join their Asset Management Legal and Regulatory team in New York City. This firm has a broad, integrated private markets platform with a specific focus on middle-market solutions across Private Credit, Private Equity, and Real Estate. They are a big player in the Investment Management space and is looking to expand their Asset Management team as a part of their growth plans.
This individual will have the opportunity to join the fastest growing business unit within the firm and have a high level of responsibility while working on a variety of different Legal and Compliance matters within the Asset Management space.
Responsibilities:
Drafting entity formation and dissolution documents, organizational charts, annual reports, and resolutions
Initial review of subscription documents and maintaining an internal compliance calendar
Assisting with private funds documents and investment checklists
Preparing responses to KYC/AML requests
Preparing and updating project plans for asset management and regulatory compliance mandates
Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house position with a specific focus on Private Funds
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight
Familiarity with leveraging technology streamline processes
