We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Equity Associate to join a prestigious law firm. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of private equity experience and the ability to work flexible hours.
Some Duties May Include:
Help negotiate terms for investments, acquisitions, and dispositions
Ensure compliance with tax and corporate laws
Help structure deals, including fund formations and acquisitions
Document transactions, including acquisition agreements and financing documents
Represent clients in transactions, including buyouts, growth equity investments, and debt financing
Provide advice on a range of issues, including portfolio company management, securities regulation, and intellectual property
Experience:
Must have at least 4-6 years of private equity experience, including aspects of dispositions, acquisitions, and daily operations involving Private Equity portfolio companies
Must have excellent communication skills and academic credentials
Must have law firm experience
Must have a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing of the South Carolina Bar
