Position Type: Full-Time

Compensation Range: $225,000 – $420,000, commensurate with experience, class/graduation year, and practice area.

Roles and Responsibilities

The Private Credit Associate will be instrumental in advising clients on a variety of sophisticated financial transactions.

Key responsibilities include:

Representing clients in private credit and finance transactions, including cash flow-based lending, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and recapitalizations.

Providing strategic advice on asset-based financing, restructurings, and workout situations (preferred).

Collaborating with both borrowers and lenders on diverse and often high-stakes financing arrangements.

Drafting and negotiating intricate legal documents related to private credit agreements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to client goals.

Ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks and guiding clients through the complexities of financial regulations.

Job Requirements

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:

3 to 6 years of experience in private credit or finance law at a nationally or internationally recognized law firm or equivalent.

Proven expertise in lending transactions, with borrower-side experience being a notable advantage.

A strong track record in cash flow-based financing, acquisition financing, leveraged buyouts, and recapitalizations.

Exceptional academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Superior communication skills, particularly in drafting and negotiating legal documentation.
