Peak District Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 DOE Benefits CRA Consulting are delighted to be working in partnership with a highly regarded and long-established regional law firm in the recruitment of a Private Client Solicitor (1-5 PQE) to join its successful Wills & Probate team based in the firms Peak District office. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Private Client Solicitor to join a firm renowned for delivering exceptional client care and building long-standing relationships with individuals, families and business owners across Derbyshire and the surrounding regions.
The successful candidate will become part of a supportive and collaborative team, handling high-quality private client work while benefiting from genuine opportunities for career progression.
The Role You will manage a varied and rewarding caseload of private client matters, providing practical and sensitive advice to clients on a broad range of issues. Your responsibilities will include:
Drafting Wills and advising on estate planning matters Preparing and registering Lasting Powers of Attorney Administering estates and obtaining Grants of Probate Advising on inheritance tax and succession planning Managing trust-related matters where appropriate Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and professional contacts Delivering exceptional levels of client care throughout each matter Supporting the continued development and growth of the department About You Applications are welcomed from Solicitors with between 1 and 5 years’ PQE gained within a Private Client department.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
Experience handling a broad range of wills, probate and estate administration matters Strong technical knowledge of private client law Excellent communication and client care skills The ability to manage a caseload independently A compassionate and professional approach when dealing with sensitive matters Strong organisational and time management abilities A genuine desire to develop a long-term career within private client practice STEP qualification or a desire to work towards STEP accreditation would be advantageous but is not essential.
