An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Paralegal to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm with a strong reputation for delivering exceptional client service. The successful candidate will join a busy and growing Private Client team, supporting solicitors across a broad range of matters including Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), Probate, Estate Administration, and related private client work.
The Role This is a full-time, office-based position offering exposure to high-quality private client work. Key responsibilities will include:
Managing and progressing a small caseload under supervision, with scope for increased responsibility over time Drafting legal documents, correspondence and supporting documentation Gathering, reviewing and analysing client information and documentation. Conducting legal and factual research as required Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions and other third parties Maintaining accurate file records and updating case management systems Candidate Requirements To be considered for this position, applicants should have: A minimum of 12 months’ experience within a Private Client, Wills & Probate Previous experience supporting matters relating to Wills, Probate, Estate Administration and LPAs Strong legal document drafting and document review skills Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail Effective written and verbal communication skills Strong research and analytical capabilities Experience using Microsoft Office and legal case management systems The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively A professional, compassionate and client-focused approach A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive matters appropriately A law degree, CILEx qualification, or relevant paralegal qualification would be advantageous but is not essential for candidates with suitable experience.
