What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Provide compliance advisory activities related to regulatory requirements impacting business lines or corporate functions
Serve as a subject matter expert on UDAAP compliance, advising on risk mitigation and consumer protections
Engage with business and risk partners to develop compliant solutions and escalate risks appropriately
Conduct research on compliance requirements and evaluate the effectiveness of policies and procedures
Create and update status reports on program initiatives and compliance risks for management
What is Required (Qualifications):
Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Law, Information Technology, Finance, or related field
6+ years of experience in compliance, law, risk management, or a related field
In lieu of education, 10+ years of experience in compliance, law, risk management, or a related field
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Ability to operate office equipment and remain in a stationary position
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Masters degree in Business Administration, Law, or related field
2+ years of experience as a subject matter expert in UDAAP
Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager or similar certification
Working knowledge of Dodd-Frank and FTC UDAAP/USAP requirements
8+ years of experience in compliance, law, risk management, or a related field
