We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Pre Suit Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. This vital role involves providing comprehensive support in the early stages of legal proceedings, including case preparation, medical bill and record requests, and client communication. Duties
- Assist case managers with obtaining documents pertinent to the client’s case.
- Draft and review legal correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage and organize case files using document management systems.
- Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines, scheduling meetings, and coordinating with attorneys and clients.
- Review documents and assist in preparing materials for litigation or settlement negotiations.
- Handle client communication professionally via phone or email, maintaining clear records of interactions and updates.
Qualifications
- Proven paralegal experience with a strong understanding of plaintiff personal injury law.
- Proficiency in case management software.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to draft clear legal documents and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience handling confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and familiarity with document review platforms like iManage or similar systems.
- Ability to perform data entry accurately while maintaining organized filing systems; experience with legal administrative tasks such as filing is essential.
