Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation Paralegal to join our personal injury team. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of personal injury pre-litigation experience and be familiar with the entire pre-litigation process from intake through settlement negotiations before litigation. We are looking for someone organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage a high-volume caseload in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage personal injury cases from intake through pre-litigation resolution
- Maintain regular communication with clients regarding treatment and case status
- Communicate with insurance adjusters and medical providers
- Obtain, review, and organize medical records, bills, and lien information
- Draft demands and prepare settlement packages for attorney review
- Monitor case progress and follow up on outstanding items
- Maintain accurate and organized case files and notes
- Assist attorneys with pre-litigation case handling and negotiations
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of personal injury pre-litigation experience REQUIRED
- Familiarity with the entire pre-litigation process from intake through settlement negotiations prior to litigation
- Experience working with medical records, insurance claims, and demand preparation
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently
- Experience with case management software preferred
