Whitten Law Office, LLC is a growing medium-sized law firm, which focuses its practice on, and service clients in, the transportation and logistics industry in Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois, and other states with special permission. Our Indianapolis office has an opening for a Paralegal. Three years of experience is required. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with our excellent team of paralegals. We will offer the successful candidate a competitive wage, with additional wages for health insurance procurement, disability insurance, 401K, and paid time off benefits.
The successful candidate for this position will have experience in:
– Ability to work with high volume & multi-task
– Microsoft 365 business including Outlook and Word, SharePoint is a plus
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Ability to proofread
– Self-motivated
– Detail-oriented
– Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal
– Proficiency in using legal case management software, such as TimeSolv
– Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
– Familiarity with document review processes
– Ability to multi-task
– Excellent organizational skills
– Familiarity with ordering medical record requests
– Review medical records
– Summarizing medical records and medical bills
