Role Description This is a full-time, on-site (remote considered for right candidate!) Pre-Litigation Case Manager role. The Pre-Litigation Case Manager will manage a caseload of personal injury matters from assignment through pre-suit resolution, including gathering and organizing medical records, bills, accident reports, and other evidence. This role involves frequent communication with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and internal legal teams to provide updates, coordinate treatment, and support case strategy. The Case Manager will prepare demand packages, track deadlines, maintain accurate case notes, and assist attorneys with case evaluation and settlement negotiations. Daily responsibilities also include data entry into case management systems, scheduling appointments, ensuring documents are complete and compliant, and supporting a professional, compassionate client experience.
Qualifications
- Strong case management and organizational abilities, including handling multiple files, tracking deadlines, and maintaining detailed records.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients, medical providers, insurance companies, and internal team members.
- Proficiency with legal or case management software, standard office applications (e.g., Word, Excel), and accurate data entry.
- Ability to review and summarize medical records, accident reports, and other documentation with strong attention to detail.
- Customer service and client-relations skills, with a professional, empathetic approach to working with injured individuals and their families.
- Problem-solving skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in personal injury, insurance claims, or a law firm setting is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., legal studies, criminal justice, healthcare administration) is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
