As a Litigation Attorney, you will represent clients in court, manage case files, and provide sound legal advice.
Duties
Represent clients in litigation proceedings, including trials and hearings.
Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Lexis-Nexis to support case strategies.
Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
Prepare for court appearances by organizing case materials and evidence.
Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies.
Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting cases.
Provide clients with clear
communication
regarding case progress and legal options.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
Experience in family law, patent law, or securities law is preferred.
Strong skills in legal research and drafting.
Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis.
Excellent negotiation skills with a focus on client
