Duties
- Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls
- Conduct comprehensive legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and stay current on relevant statutes and case law.
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and discovery requests with precision and clarity.
- Prepare for and participate in court depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations to advocate effectively on behalf of clients.
- Develop case strategies through thorough investigation, evidence collection, and analysis of liability issues related to personal injury law.
- Communicate clearly with clients regarding case progress, legal options, and settlement opportunities while maintaining compassionate client service.
- Collaborate with experts in fields such as accident reconstruction or medical evaluation to strengthen case positions.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school with active admission to the state bar.
- 3 years of experience handling personal injury cases from inception through trial or settlement negotiations.
- Deposition experience
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation tactics and courtroom advocacy during depositions or trial preparation.
- Well-developed communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration within the legal team.

Pay: $110,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
