About the Company

Our client, a reputable law firm in downtown Toronto is seeking a Law Clerk with experience in litigation, preferably in Class Actions, to join their team.

Responsibilities

Draft and prepare court documents including pleadings, motion records, certification materials, and affidavits of documents.

Assist with file management, including maintaining litigation calendars, deadlines, and limitation periods.

Coordinate service and filing of documents with courts and counsel.

Conduct preliminary legal research and assist with investigation and evidence gathering.

Communicate professionally with clients, class members, third parties, and co-counsel.

Prepare materials for examinations, motions, and hearings.

Support Lawyers in trial preparation and settlement implementation.

Requirements

Law Clerk Diploma/Certificate from an accredited institution.

3–5+ years of relevant experience in Litigation (Class Actions).

Proficiency in Ontario court procedures and Rules of Civil Procedure.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in handling voluminous records.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
