The Section Manager for Physician Relations shall assist the Associate Director in executing all strategies to enhance relations between potential and current medical staff members to maximize the physician’s ability that will help the medical center improve the quality and efficiency of the care provided to its patients in all aspects of patient care service. Responsible for reaching out to all physicians and the management to enhance satisfaction around existing relationships.
Key Functions:
Maintains profiles on physician practices, analyzes physician activity reports and develops strategies to address referral patterns and areas of interest.
Develop programs to doctors that will contribute self-pay revenue.
Plans and coordinates physician outreach, networking events, and referral meetings.
Manages the recruitment and on-boarding of new physicians and including hospital orientation,introduction to leadership, and follow-up to specific interest areas.
Assist the Associate Director in establishing relationships and communication with the Physicians in relation to support the President and CEO and other Executives. He or she will be responsible for executive visibility and strengthening the relationship of all Physicians and the Medical Center.
Foster an excellent line of communication that positively opens and always makes sure that the physicians are satisfied with the hospital’s level of care.
Act as Mediator to handle communication difficulties, grievances, and/or conflicts well
Formulates policies and collaborates with the different business units, executives to build alignment and consistency across the organization
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Sales, or Public Relations.
At least 3-5 years relevant managerial experience
Experience in developing and implementing physician relations initiatives or programs is an advantage
