About Ask A Pro Law
Ask A Pro Law is a growing personal injury law firm operating under Arizona’s Alternative Business Structure (ABS) model. Our structure combines attorney-led legal representation with a business-focused approach to operations, technology, client service, accountability, and growth.
We are a fully remote, technology-driven firm with team members working collaboratively across multiple states. We emphasize excellent client communication, organized and properly documented files, accountability, urgency, teamwork, and consistent follow-through.
Remote work provides independence and flexibility, but it also requires discipline, professionalism, communication, and ownership of your work.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage up to approximately 100 active pre-litigation PI files
- Conduct client intake, open claims, and send letters of representation
- Maintain regular, professional client communication
- Communicate with insurance carriers, adjusters, medical providers, attorneys, and other parties
- Monitor treatment and identify gaps, delays, or other case concerns
- Obtain, review, and organize medical records and bills
- Understand diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and their significance to a PI claim
- Evaluate liability, coverage, treatment, damages, case value, and settlement offers
- Draft comprehensive settlement demands
- Assist with settlement negotiations and negotiate medical bills, balances, and liens
- Track deadlines, policy limits, demands, offers, and outstanding case items
- Maintain detailed and current case notes and properly documented files
- Identify and escalate legal, coverage, treatment, or client issues when appropriate
- Prepare files for settlement, disbursement, or litigation transfer
- Work collaboratively with attorneys, medical coordinators, intake, management, and other team members
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of personal injury case management experience (any state)
- Significant hands-on pre-litigation PI experience
- Experience independently managing a substantial caseload; 75-100 active files preferred
- Experience with intake, claim setup, demands, medical records, case evaluation, settlement negotiations, and medical bill negotiations
- Strong understanding of the PI process from intake through settlement
- Professional fluency in English and Spanish required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Excellent organization, attention to detail, time management, and follow-through
- Ability to communicate professionally with clients, carriers, medical providers, and attorneys
- Ability to prioritize a large inventory, work independently, follow established procedures, and recognize when issues need to be escalated
- Availability during Central Time business hours
Because this is a fully remote position, candidates must have their own reliable computer, high-speed internet, reliable cell phone/service, and a quiet professional workspace suitable for confidential client communications, calls, and video meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Texas personal injury experience
- Litigation or litigation-support experience
- Filevine or comparable case-management software experience
- Experience with motor vehicle, commercial vehicle, premises liability, and other bodily injury claims
- Familiarity with PIP, MedPay, health insurance liens, letters of protection, subrogation, and medical balance negotiations
- Experience identifying policy-limit and other time-sensitive case issues
- Settlement and disbursement experience
- BA or AA degree, or some college coursework
Our Ideal Candidate
Our ideal candidate does more than complete assigned tasks. You actively manage your inventory and take ownership of your files.
You know what is happening in your cases and what needs to happen next. You recognize when treatment has stalled, records need to be requested, a carrier needs follow-up, a demand should be completed, a client needs an update, or an issue requires attorney attention.
You are organized, accountable, detail-oriented, proactive, professional, and responsive. You document your work, return calls, meet deadlines, follow up consistently, work well with a team, and ask questions or escalate issues rather than allowing files to sit unresolved.
We provide established processes, technology, attorney access, management support, and a collaborative remote environment. In return, we expect our team members to manage their responsibilities professionally and consistently.
Compensation
Starting salary: $65,000-$72,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Paid time off and sick leave are provided. Health insurance and other traditional employee benefits are not currently offered.
To Apply
Please submit a current resume that clearly reflects your personal injury experience. Candidates should be prepared to discuss their years of PI experience, typical caseload size, states handled, demand and case-evaluation experience, Spanish proficiency, case-management software experience, and any Texas or litigation experience.
Applicants without substantial personal injury case management experience or professional fluency in both English and Spanish will not be considered.
