We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Paralegal to join our legal team. This role is crucial in supporting attorneys with case management, legal research, and administrative tasks, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service.
Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and meetings related to personal injury cases.
Conduct thorough legal research on relevant laws and regulations pertaining to personal injury claims.
Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates on case progress.
Coordinate with medical providers and other experts to obtain necessary records and testimony.
Review contracts and documents for compliance with legal standards and regulations.
Support estate planning efforts as needed, ensuring all documentation is properly managed.
Stay informed about tribal law regulations that may impact personal injury cases involving tribal entities.
Requirements
Proven experience as a paralegal or in a similar role within a legal environment, preferably focused on personal injury law.
Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation requirements.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
Proficiency in conducting legal research using various resources and databases.
Familiarity with administrative tasks such as filing, scheduling, and client communication.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independence in managing tasks.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all aspects of case management.
Knowledge of estate planning processes is a plus; familiarity with tribal law regulations is also beneficial.
