About Us:
Simpson Law Firm represents banks, credit unions, lenders, and other creditors across Mississippi and Tennessee. We provide litigation services including consumer and commercial debt collection, bankruptcy defense, collateral recovery, foreclosures, and defense litigation. Our office in Memphis, TN seeks an efficient, dedicated, and organized individual to assist in case management and attorney preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule and prepare materials for court hearings
Track internal deadlines and statutes of limitations
Draft and edit correspondence, pleadings, and discovery
File documents via E-Filing
Communicate with clients, court clerks, process servers, and other law offices
Qualifications:
Moderate proficiency in word processing (Word or WordPerfect)
Highly organized
Detail-oriented
Resourceful
Proactive
Ability to work effectively and professionally with attorneys, legal assistants, clients, and outside organizations
Must be able to transition quickly between multiple tasks and handle a fast-paced work environment
Experience with Tennessee courts and civil litigation preferred
Benefits:
Salary: $45,000 – $55,000
