Personal Injury Case Manager Jobs in Los Angeles, CA at KR Law, APC
We are seeking a highly organized, driven, and empathetic Personal Injury Case Manager to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing pre-litigation personal injury cases, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping injured clients through every step of their recovery and claims process.
Duties
- Manage a full caseload of personal injury files from intake through settlement.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, keeping them informed and supported throughout their case.
- Coordinate client medical treatment, schedule appointments, and obtain medical records and bills.
- Open insurance claims and maintain communication with adjusters to monitor the status of claims.
- Draft settlement demands and assist attorneys with case preparation.
- Maintain detailed, accurate records and documentation in the case management system.
- Monitor case progress and follow up regularly with clients, providers, and insurance carriers.
- Ensure all deadlines are met, and assist attorneys with case updates and strategy meetings.
- Identify liens (e.g., Medi-Cal, Medicare, hospital) and work with lienholders for reductions and resolution.
- Provide empathetic and professional support to clients navigating physical, emotional, and financial challenges after an accident.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience managing personal injury cases in a law firm setting (pre-litigation experience required)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, insurance claim procedures, and California personal injury law
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in case management software such as CASEPEER (preferred)
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with attorneys and legal staff
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a MUST.

Pay: $30.00 – $50.00 per hour
