Scott B. Umstead, P.A. is a high volume law firm in Myrtle Beach, SC and we need a Real Estate Pre-Closer/Opener.
An Opener in our office is responsible for handling all pre-closing procedures, including, but not limited to, contract review, obtaining client information, ordering (title searches, COA’s, payoffs, etc.), and communication/coordination (with clients, realtors, other offices, etc.). Timing is key and organization is imperative. Additionally, an important aspect of this position is working closely with one of our closing paralegals. You’ll be teamed up with a Closer and will take direction from them. It will be crucial for you both to work well together and be very in-tune with each other. If you aren’t a people person, then this isn’t the job for you.
Having some experience with real estate closing procedures is really preferred but we will train the right person if we need to. We need someone who works diligently and is detail oriented, is able to stay organized while handling a multitude of different responsibilities, and who portrays a professional and personable demeanor.
We want someone who comes to work, who wants to work, and who wants to do their job well. Pay will depend on experience level and will be discussed during interviews.
