Personal Injury Attorney Jobs in New York, NY at Legal Search Partners
Prominent Manhattan plaintiff firm seeking a litigator, with trial experience, to join its growing legal team. In addition to base salary, the also position also offers very lucrative bonus potential (above & beyond the listed salary). You must have at least 7 year of plaintiff firm eperience and trial experience. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of personal injury cases, from initial consultation through trial, ensuring thorough legal representation and advocacy.
Duties
- Handle a caseload of personal injury claims, including car accidents, slip and falls, and other negligence cases
- Conduct detailed legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and discovery requests with precision and clarity
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel to maximize client benefits
- Manage client communications, providing updates and guidance throughout the legal process
- Prepare cases for trial by gathering evidence, interviewing witnesses, and developing compelling arguments
- Collaborate with medical experts, accident reconstruction specialists, and other professionals to strengthen case outcomes
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the NY state bar in good standing
- Proven experience in personal injury law with a strong track record of successful case resolutions
- Exceptional legal research skills utilizing Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research platforms
- Strong writing skills with the ability to produce clear, persuasive legal drafting and correspondence
- Excellent negotiation abilities to achieve favorable settlements for clients
- Familiarity with litigation procedures and courtroom practices
- Experience with legal administrative tasks including case management and documentation organization

Pay: $200,000.00 – $350,000.00 per year
