Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Immigration Lawyer to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess a solid background in immigration law, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for advocating for clients’ rights
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide legal counsel on immigration matters such as affirmative interviews, Asylum court hearings, Removal proceedings, and Bond hearings.
· Prepare and file appeals with BIA
· Prepare and file motions
· Represent clients in Master hearings sometimes virtually and in-person Individual hearings
· Collaborate with team members to develop effective strategies for client cases.
· Remote work is acceptable
· Meeting with clients in person is sometimes required.
Qualifications:
-Active bar membership
-2+ years of experience in immigration law preferred
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
– A compassionate approach to representing clients
-Mandarin Speaker a plus
