Patent Prosecution Technical Advisor or Patent Agent – Junior Jobs in San Diego, CA at Perkins Coie
Curtis Legal Group is seeking an assistant to a litigation paralegal who works on personal injury cases under the supervision of attorneys. Duties include:
Reviewing medical records and bills
Drafting correspondence
Interacting with medical providers, insurance companies, clients, lienholders, and other attorneys’ offices
Filing
Preparing pleading and discovery templates
Generally assisting the paralegals, as needed.
We are looking for applicants with:
experience working in a law firm, preferably in a personal injury law firm
familiarity with pleadings, discovery, and general civil litigation
excellent organizational skills
ability to take direction with minimal follow-up
experience working in MS Outlook, Adobe Pro and Word
Applicants with the following skills are preferable:
prior experience with liens
Qualities we are looking for in the perfect candidate include self-motivation, enthusiasm, initiative, high energy, excellent attention to detail, flexibility, and good people skills.
This is a full-time position Monday through Friday, normally 8:00-5:00. Compensation is based on experience.
