Position: Patent Prosecution Associate – Boutique Chicago Law Firm
About the Position:
We are working with a Chambers-ranked Chicago-based law firm that has an immediate need for a patent prosecution lawyer to join as a mid-level associate. This cutting-edge firm represents clients in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, medical device, and cosmetic industries in litigation, regulatory, and IP matters.

Responsibilities:
· Prepare, file, and prosecute patent applications
· Draft new patent applications
· Conduct patentability analysis
· Assist with patent clearance studies
· Prepare client correspondence
Required Qualifications:
· 3+ years of patent prosecution experience in the field of chemical or life sciences and a degree in a biological or chemistry field
· Must be registered to practice with the USPTO and previous experience with the food, beverage, nutritional supplement, cosmetics, or pharmaceutical industries is a plus
