Patent Attorney or Agent opportunity within a booming practice. Preparation and prosecution of patents, portfolio strategy and counseling, opinions, and possible transactional work. Type of work will be dependent upon experience and whether licensed as an attorney or an agent. High profile clients and sophisticated work.
The practice encompasses a diverse array of hardware and software technologies *
Industrial and consumer electronics
Analog and digital circuits
Chip architecture
Wireless telecommunications
Enterprise applications
Network security and protocols
Databases
Web and cloud services
Operating systems
Software user interfaces
Open source
Client and portfolio assignment will be dependent upon technical expertise and experience.
Patent Attorney *
Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science
At least 2 years of patent law experience
USPTO bar (and state bar for attorney) required
Patent Agent *
Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science (preferably MS or higher)
At least 3 years of claim drafting and prosecutions experience
USPTO bar required
