Responsibilities:
– Coordination with external European patent law firms: selection, quality control, benchmarking
– Managing patent prosecution and opposition proceedings at the European patent office and the German patent office
– Participation in European patent litigation
– Assisting in the European patent law training of Chinese patent engineers
– Controlling the quality of English-language patent application drafting
Requirements:
– At least two years’ experience as a European patent attorney
– Master’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, physics or related fields
– English as a working language
– Additional qualification as a German patent attorney highly welcome
– Chinese language and culture proficiency highly welcome
– Honesty, strong communication and coordination skills, strong self-motivation
