Position: Patent Associate (#933) – Minneapolis
Job Opportunity:
Patent Associate
Dorsey’s Patent group is seeking an associate in Seattle, Denver, or Minneapolis with 1-3 years of experience in patent prosecution. Candidates should have a technical background in electrical engineering or relevant patent prosecution experience in electrical or semiconductor technologies.
You will join an exceptional team servicing a diverse client base, managing active patent prosecution dockets, and advising on patent strategies. Opportunities include conducting searches, preparing patentability, invalidity, and non-infringement opinions, and supporting litigation and transactional practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bar admission in Washington, Colorado, or Minnesota
1-3 years of patent attorney experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
Strong academic performance and writing skills
Preferred Qualifications:
USPTO admission
For Minneapolis applicants, the salary range is $200,000 – $225,000, with potential options for a lower billable-hours track and participation in the bonus program.
