A dynamic law firm is seeking a Patent Agent with 2-4 years of experience to join its Intellectual Property practice group in Atlanta. The role involves collaborating with clients in various industries, primarily focusing on chemistry and patent prosecution.
Location:

Duties:
Counsel clients on patent prosecution matters.
Prepare patent applications for submission to the USPTO.
Respond to office actions from the USPTO and other patent offices.
Engage with clients, including universities and start-ups, to protect their innovations.
Requirements:
2-4 years of experience in patent prosecution and USPTO registration.
Master’s or PhD in organic chemistry, with knowledge of synthetic and polymer chemistry.
Certifications:
Registration with the USPTO.
Skills:
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage an active practice.
