Permanent A reputable law firm is seeking an experienced Costs Draftsperson / Costs Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong cost experience who is looking for flexibility and a supportive working environment.
The Role You will be responsible for a varied caseload of costs work, including:
Preparing Bills of Costs, Costs Budgets (Precedent H) and Statements of Costs Drafting Points of Dispute and Points of Reply Negotiating cost settlements with third parties Assisting with cost recovery and cost management Liaising with fee earners, clients, and external parties Ensuring compliance with deadlines and CPR requirements About You Experience as a Costs Draftsperson, Costs Assistant, or similar role within a law firm Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules and costs processes Confident drafting skills with excellent attention to detail Ability to manage your own workload independently Looking for a part-time role with flexibility Benefits Flexible part-time hours Competitive salary based on experience Supportive, friendly team environment If interested, please apply or contact Steph McCormack at MLR Legal Recruitment for more information.
